Two-time NCAA Division II All-American and two-time NCAA Regional Champion Larry Robey made an impact on the Pitt-Johnstown wrestling program that helped establish it as one of the premier programs in the country.
        Upon graduating from Biglerville High School) in 1984, Mr. Robey joined Head Coach Pat Pecora's Mountain Cats wrestling team. In his freshman year, Mr. Robey earned the starting spot in lineup at the 134lbs weight class and compiled 20 wins. He was part of Pitt-Johnstown's team that finished third at the East Regional Tournament and 25th at the NCAA Division II National Championships.
        Mr. Robey, a three-year team captain, re-joined the starting line-up for the 1986-87 season after returning from a medical redshirt. Mr. Robey took the next step in his wrestling career by winning his first NCAA Regional title which helped guide the Mountain Cats to the program's second NCAA Regional Championship.  This would be his first of three trips to the NCAA National Tournament, where Pitt-Johnstown placed 11th to mark the program's best national finish to that point.
        As a junior in 1987-88, Mr. Robey again claimed the NCAA Regional title and became an All-American with a seventh-place finish at the National Tournament.  That season, the Mountain Cats secured their first Top-10 finish and claimed another East Regional Championship.
        Mr. Robey's career culminated with another superb performance in 1988-89.  He helped guide Pitt-Johnstown to its third consecutive Regional championship.  At the national tournament, Mr. Robey became a two-time NCAA All-American by placing fifth and guiding the program to it first Top-5 national finish.
        In 1989, Mr. Robey graduated from Pitt-Johnstown with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and a Minor in Finance and moved to New York to begin his work career.  A few years later Mr. Robey relocated to Maryland to start his own contracting business and soon partnered with his brother.
        Mr. Robey is the owner of Robey Inc. which is a stucco and drywall construction company servicing the greater Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Baltimore metro areas.  Mr. Robey also has a sister company, Robey Investments that buys and maintains rental properties.
        During his professional career, Mr. Robey's company has become the premier residential stucco company in the greater Washington DC area. Robey Inc. has been recognized and received multiple awards via industry trade associations, building organizations and magazines for their detail to craftsmanship.
        Mr. Robey, who also served his community as a local youth and high school wrestling, football, and baseball coach, currently lives in Sykesville, Maryland with his wife, Rocio, and four children, Levi, Jared, Valentine, and Alexa.
