Sixteenth-ranked University of North Carolina-Pembroke jumped out to early leads in both games of a 15-0 and 10-2 sweep over the Mountain Cats in Pitt-Johnstown's 2014 season-opener Sunday afternoon in Pembroke, N.C.

In the opener, the Braves raced out to a 10-0 lead after three innings, en route to the 15-0 victory.

In the nightcap, UNC-Pembroke built an 8-0 advantage after two innings and went on to defeat Pitt-Johnstown 10-2.
