Indiana University (PA) walked-off with a 4-3 win in nine innings to open Sunday's PSAC Western Division doubleheader in Indiana, before game two was call due to darkness with the score tied at 15 after eight innings. Pitt-Johnstown is now 5-30-1 overall and 5-14-1 in conference-play.

In game one, IUP's Ryan Uhl belted a solo homer to knot it at three with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, before Austin Mock's walk-off RBI single in the ninth chased home Ted DeSanti to give the Crimson Hawks the 4-3 victory.

Dillon Boyer went 3-for-4 with a double, while
Mike Palkovitz doubled and drove in one, and
Nico Pecora added a double for the Mountain Cats.Â
Sean Sleigh and
Jake Stern also had an RBI each for Pitt-Johnstown.

Tyler Black suffered the loss in relief of starter
Ryan Socol and fell to 0-3. Black allowed two earned runs on three IUP hits in 2.1 innings. Socol pitched the first six innings for the Mountain Cats and held the Crimson Hawks to a pair of runs on just three hits in the no-decision. Socol also walked five and fanned five.

In the nightcap, IUP exploded for 10 first inning runs off of Mountain Cat starter
Andrew Keirn, but Pitt-Johnstown battled back to tie it at 15 with three runs in the top of the seventh. However, neither team was able to score in the eighth and the game was halted due to darkness.

Stern had two hits, including a 3-run homer, and five RBI, and Sleigh collected three hits, including a homerun, and four RBI. Palkovitz went 4-for-5 with a double, while
Luke Williams and Boyer had two hits apiece.Â
Lino Bravo doubled twice and drove in three for the Mountain Cats.

IUP is now 13-16-1 overall and 9-10-1 in the PSAC West.

The Mountain Cats travel to Lock haven for a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday, before hosting a PSAC-Western Division doubleheader against California (PA) on Friday at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium.Â
