Indiana, PA

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2
2797Indiana University (PA) walked-off with a 4-3 win in nine innings to open Sunday's PSAC Western Division doubleheader in Indiana, before game two was call due to darkness with the score tied at 15 after eight innings.  Pitt-Johnstown is now 5-30-1 overall and 5-14-1 in conference-play.

In game one, IUP's Ryan Uhl belted a solo homer to knot it at three with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, before Austin Mock's walk-off RBI single in the  ninth chased home Ted DeSanti to give the Crimson Hawks the 4-3 victory.

Tyler Black suffered the loss in relief of starter Ryan Socol and fell to 0-3.  Black allowed two earned runs on three IUP hits in 2.1 innings.  Socol pitched the first six innings for the Mountain Cats and held the Crimson Hawks to a pair of runs on just three hits in the no-decision.  Socol also walked five and fanned five.

In the nightcap, IUP exploded for 10 first inning runs off of Mountain Cat starter Andrew Keirn, but Pitt-Johnstown battled back to tie it at 15 with three runs in the top of the seventh.  However, neither team was able to score in the eighth and the game was halted due to darkness.
