Sean Sleigh hit a pair of homeruns and drove in five, but Lock Haven battled back from an 8-1 fourth-inning deficit and held on for a 9-8 non-conference win, Tuesday afternoon in Lock Haven. Pitt-Johnstown, which banged out 18 hits on the day, fell to 5-31-1.

Pitt-Johnstown built and eight-run lead in the third inning, but Lock Haven clawed back and used a six-run sixth inning to take a 9-8 lead of its own, and held on for the victory.

Ernesto Rizzitano and
Dillon Boyer drove in the first two runs of the game, before
Sean Sleigh belted a three-run Homerun to make it 5-0.Â
Mike Palkovitz then doubled and came around to score on
Jake Stern's base hit to left field.

Sleigh then connected for a two-run homer in the fourth to make it 8-1, but the Bald Eagles scored two in the bottom of the frame and six more in the sixth, including Ryan Henritzy's RBI single that put Lock Haven in front, 9-8.

Sleigh went 3-for-5 with a double, two homeruns, and five RBI. Palkovitz had three hits including a pair of doubles, and
Mason Prickett chipped-in three singles. Pitt-Johnstown also got two hits and an RBI apiece from Boyer and Stern, while
Nate Negri and
Lino Bravo each had two of the Mountain Cats' 18 hits.

Nathan Bearer suffered the loss in relief of starter
Shane Supanick after giving up two runs in the Lock Have sixth inning. Supanick pitched the first four innings and allowed three runs (3 earned) on four hits in the no-decision.

With the win, Lock Haven improved to 10-19.

The Mountain Cats host a PSAC-Western Division doubleheader against California (PA) on Friday at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium, before concluding the four-game series with a doubleheader against the Vulcans on Saturday in Washington, Pa.Â
