Indiana University (PA)'s Nathan Guerrini took medalist honors by finishing the tournament at even par, but West Liberty (WV) University took the team championship at +23, one stroke better than Indiana (PA) and Millersville University.
After opening the tournament with an 81 on Sunday, Gerger came back with a two-over 74 on Monday to tie for 30th-place with IUP's Josh Bartley and California University (PA)'s Grant Barracchini.
Along with Gerger,
Sean Maravich (82, 83, 165,) finished 47th at +21, while
Nolan Link (82, 85, 167) was 48th at +23, and Zack Wagner tied for 49th at +24 (87, 81, 168).
Behind West Liberty, Indiana (PA), and Millersville, Clarion (+33) and West Chester University tied for fourth at +33, and California (PA) placed sixth in the 10-team field at +38. Pitt-Johnstown was ninth at +79.
The Mountain Cats travel to the Davis & Elkins Wally Edgall Collegiate Championship in Elkins, W.Va. on Monday and Tuesday, before competing in the Gannon University Bud Elwell Classic on October 1-2.
