Connor Harriman's time of 26:44 was good enough for a ninth-place finish out of 95 runners and led the Mountain Cat men's cross country team to a fifth-place team finish at Friday's 2018 Lebanon Valley College last Chance Meet in Annville, Pa.
Harriman placed ninth, just 42 seconds behind Gettysburg medalist Alex Petrella. East Stroudsburg claimed the team title with 23 points, 42 points ahead of second-place Gettysburg.
Tom McArdle placed 16th (27:03),
Luca Pugliano was 26th (27:45), and
Robert Bell (20:42) and Matthew Cubbage (32:07) finished 67th and 79th, respectively for Pitt-Johnstown.
East Stroudsburg (23 points), Gettysburg (65 points), Messiah (71 points), Mount St. Mary's (98 points), and Pitt-Johnstown (125 points) claimed the top-five spots in the eight-team field.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to the 2018 PSAC Championships at Edinboro University on November 3.
