The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's basketball teams will return to action following Finals Week with a non-conference doubleheader against Cheyney University, Tuesday evening in the Sports Center. The Women's team will tip-off against the Wolves at 5:30 p.m. with the men's game to follow at 7:30 p.m.

Head Coach Mike Drahos' (6th year) Pitt-Johnstown squad, 4-5 on the season, is coming off of a 67-49 PSAC Crossover loss to Kutztown in its home-opener on December 8.Â
Gabrielle Smith and
Alli McGrath each scored 14 points for the Mountain Cats, while
Tori Moreland scored nine points and
Maddie Shanahan pulled down a team-high eight rebounds. Pitt-Johnstown also played an exhibition game at Division I Robert Morris on Saturday and got 19 points and seven rebounds from Smith and 15 points and five rebounds from McGrath in a 73-53 loss.

Cheyney comes in at 0-12 under second-year
Head Coach Tammy Bagby. The Wolves are coming off of an 85-65 loss at American International (MA) College on Sunday. Â
Shania Stamper scored 21 points, while
Gianni Hill and
Marlon Herring added 20 and 15 points, respectively for Cheyney.

In a PSAC match-up last season in Cheyney on December 2,
Smith scored a game-high 21 points and pulled down seven rebounds and
Olivia McCabe added 16 points and 16 rebounds in a 71-53 Pitt-Johnstown victory.Â
TaKayla Ellis' 14 points,
Brianna Hedgepeth's eight points, and
Yasmine Dorrielan's five points and team-high 13 rebounds led the way for the Wolves.

Pitt-Johnstown hosts PSAC doubleheaders with the Mountain Cat men's team against Millersville on Wednesday and Clarion on January 2. Both doubleheaders will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. in the Sports Center.

Head Coach Bob Rukavina's Mountain Cats have won three of their last four games and come it at 6-3 following a 109-97 PSAC Crossover victory over Kutztown on December 8 in the Sports Center.Â
Josh Wise matched his career-high with 31 points, and PSAC West Freshman of the Week
Joe Batt scored a career-high 28 points, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out six assists to lead Pitt-Johnstown. The Mountain Cats also got 23 points from
John Paul Kromka and 11 points from
Marcin Wiszomirski.

Cheyney enters this evening's game at 1-11 under first-year
Head Coach Duwad Morris, after suffering a 76-58 setback at the University of the Sciences on Sunday.Â
Chris Richardson scored a game-high 21 points and had five rebounds to pace the Wolves.Â
Derrick Biney accounted for nine points, and
Michael Custis and
Johnathan Howard each scored eight points.

Pitt-Johnstown leads the all-time series between the two schools, 4-2. The Wolves broke a four-game losing streak to the Mountain Cats with a 66-62 victory in Cheyney on December 2, 2017.Â
Cliff St. Juste scored a game-high 22 points and
Jeff Lewis added 16 points and a game-high 16 rebounds to lead the Wolves.Â
Isaac Vescovi scored 19 points, while
Wise had 15 points and eight rebounds, and
Drew Magestro chipped-in 10 points to guide Pitt-Johnstown.
