The Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers won nine of the 10 bouts, including a technical fall by 2019 National Champion Connor Craig, on its way to a 35-6 non-conference win of the University of Findlay, Saturday night in the Sports Center.  The Mountain Cats improved to 8-2 on the year.
 
Seventh-ranked Brendan Howard's forfeit win at 125 lbs. gave the Mountain Cats a 6-0 lead, before Matt Siszka got an escape and a takedown with just under two seconds to defeat Derek Sharp, 6-4, at 133 lbs.
 
At 141 lbs., Jacob Ealy erased a 4-0 first period deficit to defeat Branson Proudlock, 11-8, and No. 1-ranked Chris Eddins dealt Devin Rogers a 13-1 major decision loss at 149 lbs. to make it 16-0.
 
After Nate Smith's 4-0 win over Chase Moore at 157 lbs., Findlay got on the scoreboard when Hunter Reed pinned Jacob Smith at 2:54 in the 165-lb. bout to cut the Oilers' deficit to 19-6.
 
In a match-up of ranked wrestlers at 174 lbs., Pitt-Johnstown's fourth-ranked Brock Biddle ran out to a 12-3 second period lead on his way to a 15-3 major decision of 10^th-ranked Nate Vandermeer to get the Mountain Cats' lead out to 23-6.
 
Third-ranked Craig then scored a 17-0 technical fall win at 4:13 over Danny Rosales at 184 lbs. to build the lead to 28-6.
 
The Mountain Cats closed it out with a major decision win by Alex Delp at 197 lbs. and a 2-0 decision from Allan Beattie at 285 lbs.
 
Findlay is now 0-1.
 
Pitt-Johnstown visits ninth-ranked Ashland (OH) on December 7, before closing out the first semester with a home match against 12^th-ranked West Liberty (WV) on December 14 at 1 p.m. in the Sports Center.
