The Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats men's basketball team fell, 80-67, against the No. 3 ranked Indiana (Pa.) Crimson Hawks Wednesday night, at the Pitt-Johnstown Sports Center. Pitt-Johnstown fell to 13-11 overall and 8-9 in the PSAC West. The Crimson Hawks improved to 22-2 overall and 15-2 in conference.

Offensively, The Mountain Cats were led by
Josh Wise. Wise finished the night with 24-points on 10-of-21 from the field.
John Paul Kromka added 10-points for the Mountain Cats

Pitt-Johnstown raced out to an early 7-6 lead thanks to a pair of Kromka free throws. After trading baskets, the Crimson Hawks opened up an 18-15 lead on a Marko Krivacevic layup. Indiana's Armoni Foster pushed the lead to six when he converted the and-one opportunity with 10:19 left in the half.

The Mountain Cats pulled within one when
Adam Kline hit a jumper, assisted by Orlando King Jr., with 6:44 left in the first half.

Kline gave the Mountain Cats the lead on the next possession when
Jared Jakubick found him for a 3-pointer to make it 27-25.

Indiana's Dante Lombardi answered with an 11-0 run by himself, to give the Crimson Hawks a 33-27 lead with 4:23 left in the first half.

The Mountain Cats fought back to tie it at 36 when Kline knocked down a 3-pointer with 1:29 left in the half.

With 16:26 left, Kromka gave the Mountain Cats a 44-43 lead. After trading baskets, Pitt-Johnstown opened up a three-point lead thanks to a
Caiden Landis layup. Pitt-Johnstown made it 54-49 with 12:02 when Wise found a cutting Kromka for a layup.

The Crimson Hawks fought back and tied it at 54 on a Dante Lombardi layup, with 9:29 remaining. After a Jacobo Diaz layup, IUP went up 58-54 on Foster's pair of free throws.

Josh wise pulled the Mountain Cats back to a three-point deficit, on a jumper, with 7:41 left.

The Crimson Hawks pulled away and made it 74-63 on back-to-back 3-pointers from Diaz.

Indiana (Pa.) Crimson Hawks saw four players reach double figures. Diaz led the pack with 23-points on 8-of-14 from the field. Lombardi added 22-points, followed by Foster's 14-points.

The Mountain Cats return to action Saturday afternoon when they travel to take on the California (Pa.) Vulcans, before traveling to take on Seton Hill Wednesday.
