The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's basketball teams will close out the regular season home slate with a PSAC doubleheader against Seton Hill, Wednesday night in the Sports Center. Head Coach
Mike Drahos' women's squad will recognize this year's four senior prior to it 5:30 tip-off, before the Mountain Cat men take on the Griffins at 7:30 p.m.

    Prior to Wednesday's women's game,
Head Coach Mike Drahos and the Pitt-Johnstown women's basketball program will recognize this year's seniors,
Katie Bolden, Alli McGrath, Maurina Nunn, and Gabrielle Smith.
     Pitt-Johnstown, 15-11 overall and 10-10 in the PSAC West, clinched a spot in next week's PSAC Women's Basketball Tournament with a double overtime, buzzer beater victory at Mercyhurst last Wednesday.Â
Maddie Shanahan sent it to a second overtime with a basket as time expired, before her putback at the buzzer in the second overtime gave the Mountain Cats a 77-75 victory over the Lakers.
Smith's 22 points, including 12-14 from the free-throw line, and nine rebounds, and
McGrath's 22 points led Pitt-Johnstown.Â
Olivia Fasick had 15 points and six rebounds, while
Ashley Norling scored eight points and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds.
     Smith ranks seventh on the Pitt-Johnstown All-time Scoring List with 1,503 points and 22
nd on the rebounding list with 580 rebounds.
     Nationally for the Mountain Cats, Smith ranks sixth in free-throws made (160) and seventh in free-throws attempted (194), and Fasick is 53
rd in steals (62), 57
th in steals per game (2.38), 59
th in assists (110), and 63
rd in assists per game (4.2).
     Seton Hill, under seventh-year
Head Coach Mark Katarski, has lost its last three games and comes in at 13-13 overall and 7-13 in the PSAC West. The Griffins are coming off of a 71-44 home loss to ninth-ranked Indiana (PA) on Saturday.Â
Lexi Civittolo and
Taylin Tyler each scored 12 points, and
Katie Nolan pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds for Seton Hill.
     Nationally,
Syndey Rabold is sixth in assist-to-turnover-ratio (2.8),
Cheyenne Trest is 44
th in free-throws made, and Nolan is 58
th in both field goal percentage (51.9%) and rebounds (230) and 65
th in rebounds per game (8.8).
     On January 25, Pitt-Johnstown traveled to Greensburg and ended a 10-game losing streak to Seton Hill with a 79-65 victory. Fasick scored a career-high 19 points, while Smith and McGrath each had 16 points to pace the Mountain Cats. Shanahan collected nine points and a game-high 10 rebounds. The Griffins were led by Trest's game-high 21 points, Nolan's 17 points, and Civittolo's 12 points.

The Pitt-Johnstown women close out the 2019-20 regular season at Indiana (PA) on Saturday, before tipping-off the 2020 PSAC Women's Basketball Tournament on Monday at a site and time to be determined.

Head Coach Bob Rukavina and his Pitt-Johnstown squad, ranked eighth in the Atlantic Region, are 20-7 overall and 14-6 in the PSAC West. The Mountain Cats look to bounce back from last Wednesday's 73-64 setback at Mercyhurst.Â
John Paul Kromka had game-highs of 21 points and 11 rebounds, while
Donovian Maxfield scored 11 points off the bench, and
Josh Wise collected 10 points and six rebounds.
    Nationally, Kromka is fourth in blocks (71), seventh in blocks per game (2.63), 22
nd in field goal percentage (59.7%), 45
th in offensive rebounds (2.96), and 61
st in total rebounds (218).Â
Fred Mulba ranks sixth in total assists (185), ninth in assists per game (6.9), 46
th in assist-to-turnover-ratio (2.34) and 58
th in steals (49). As a team, the Mountain Cats are sixth in total assists (519), eighth in assists per game (19.2), and 10
th in field goal percentage (50.8%).

Wise enters tonight's game ranked ninth on the Mountain Cat All-Time Scoring List with 1,487 points and tied for 15
th with Mike Gresik (1981-85) on the Pitt-Johnstown All-Time Rebounding List with 502.
    Seton Hill, 4-20 overall and 3-17 in the PSAC West under second-year
Head Coach Kendrick Saunders, has lost its last six games, including an 89-38 home loss to eighth-ranked Indiana (PA) on Saturday.Â
Samuel Tabe and
Drew Green scored nine and eight points, respectively for the Griffins.
    Nationally for the Griffins,
Nathan Davis ranks fifth in free-throw percentage at 92.2% and 77
th in scoring at 19.0 ppg.
    Pitt-Johnstown leads the all-time series 22-8 and has won 11 of the last 13 meetings, including an 86-66 win in Greensburg on January 25.Â
Kromka's 14 points and nine rebounds and
Caiden Landis' 14 points and six rebounds led six Mountain Cats who scored in double figures. Davis poured in a game-high 25 points and
Marrek Paola chipped-in 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds for the Griffins.

The Mountain Cat men wrap-up the 2019-20 regular season at Indiana (PA) on Saturday, before opening the 2020 PSAC Men's Basketball Tournament with a home game on Monday or next Wednesday.
