Pat Pecora and the Mountain Cats wrestlers will hit the road to compete in Saturday and Sunday's 44
th annual Midwest Classic in Indianapolis'.
Wresting is scheduled to begin on Saturday at 10 a.m. EST at both the Ruth Lilly Center and Nicoson Hall and continue until there are 12 wrestlers remaining each of the 10 brackets. Sunday's action will also begin at 10 a.m.
One of Division II most grueling regular season tournament, this year's Midwest Classic features 21 nationally-ranked teams and 70 nationally-ranked wrestlers, including top-ranked wrestlers in four weight classes.


The Mountain Cats have six wrestlers seeded in the Top-16, led by No. 3-seeded and 2023 NCAA National Qualifier
Isaiah Vance at 285 lbs., and three-time All-American
Jacob Ealy (149 lbs.) and 2023 national qualifier
Dakoda Rodgers (197 lbs.), who are both seeded fourth. In addition, 2023 national qualifier
Trevon Gray is 12
th at 125 lbs., and national qualifiers
Byron Daubert (133 lbs.) and
Dillon Keane (165 lbs.) are seeded 14
th in their respective weight classes.
Also scheduled to compete for Pitt-Johnstown are
Mason Myers (141 lbs.),
Cooper Warshel (157 lbs.),
Tony Salopek (174 lbs.), and
Noah Gnibus (184 lbs.).
