No. 11 Wrestlers to Host PSAC Match Against No. 14 Millersville, Friday Night

Head Coach Pat Pecora and the 11th-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers will host a PSAC match against 14th-ranked Millersville, Friday night at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.
 
The Mountain Cats are ranked 11th in the most recent NWCA Poll at 8-2 overall and 1-0 in the PSAC.  Pitt-Johnstown is coming off of a 3-0 day with wins over Frostburg State (MD), No. 9 UNC-Pembroke, and No. 16 Grand Valley State (MI) at last Saturday's Mountain Cat Duals in the Sports Center.  Jacob Ealy (149 lbs.), who needs one win to become Pitt-Johnstown's 27th wrestler to reach 100 career victories, Cooper Warshel (157 lbs.), Dillon Keane (165 lbs.), Noah Gnibus (184 lbs.), and Isaiah Vance (285. lbs.) the PSAC Wrestler of the Week, were all 3-0.
 
The Mountain Cats are led by Ealy, a three-time All-American and the No. 2-ranked wrestler in the country at 149 lbs., 2022 National Qualifier Dillon Keane at 165 lbs., and 2023 National Qualifiers No. 12 Trevon Gray (125 lbs.), Byron Daubert (133 lbs.), No. 7 Dakoda Rodgers (197 lbs.) and Vance, ranked third at 285 lbs.
 
Millersville, ranked 14th in the NWCA Poll under second-year Head Coach Jerry Boland, is 6-4 overall and 1-0 in the PSAC.  The Marauders posted a 3-1 record at the West Liberty (WV) Hilltopper Duals on Dec. 17, before Jonathan Parilla (165 lbs.) paced Millersville with a 3-2 record at last Friday's Division I-dominated David H. Lehman Open in Lancaster.
 
Millersville is led by two-time All-American and No. 3-ranked Devin Flannery (133 lbs.), 3-time National Qualifier Craig Cook (149 lbs.), two-time National Qualifier and No. 3-ranked Brandon Connor (165 lbs.), and 2022 National Qualifier and No 10-ranked Anthony Giampietro (184 lbs.).
 
Since the 2012-13 season, Pitt-Johnstown holds a 10-0 advantage in the series, including a 35-5 win in Millersville last season on Jan. 13.  Ealy won by fall at 149 lbs., and Brock Biddle won by technical fall at 184 lbs. to highlight two of the Mountain Cats nine wins in the match.
