On Saturday, Pitt-Johnstown will celebrate the 50th anniversary of women's basketball and welcome back Lady Cat Alumni, coaches, and staff.

First-year Head Coach D'wan Shackleford-Vickroy and her Pitt-Johnstown squad will begin PSAC Crossover-play at 1-4 following Monday's, 65-55, non-conference loss to Saginaw Valley State (MI) in the Sports Center.  Camille Dominick's team-high 12 points paced three Mountain Cats who scored in double figures.  Riley Childress scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds, and M'laya Ainsworth added 11 points and four rebounds.  On Saturday, Coach Shackleford-Vickroy earned her first career victory with an 82-68 win at Davis & Elkins (WV).
Lock Haven, ranked fourth in this week's D2CCA Atlantic Region rankings, is 3-1 under 17th-year Head Coach Jennifer Smith.  The Bald Eagles are coming off of a 65-45 win over Roberts Wesleyan (NY) on Saturday.  Rhlyn Rouse posted a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Alana Robinson had 14 points, and Kiera Baughman tallied 13 points and six boards.
Since the 2006-07 season, Pitt-Johnstown holds a slim, 7-5, advantage in the series.  The teams met last year in Lock Haven on Dec. 1 and the Bald Eagles held on for a, 59-57, win behind Robinson's game-high 16 points and seven rebounds, and 12 points apiece from Jenadia Jordan and Rouse.  The Mountain Cats were led by Cassidy Crawford's 13 points and game-high 11 rebounds and eight points each from Hayden Taylor, Olivia Fasick, and Dominick.
Mansfield, under fourth-year Head Coach Amy Senefelder, was 3-1 before Friday's conference crossover game at Clarion.  The Mountaineers are coming off of a, 68-65, win over Swarthmore last Saturday.  Katie Sheeler poured in a game-high 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Paris Anthony had 17 points, and Danae Ellzy chipped-in 16 points.
Pitt-Johnstown has won the last seven meetings between the teams, including a, 68-54, victory in Mansfield on Dec. 2, 2023.  Hayden Taylor had 17 points and six rebounds and Olivia Fasick and Peyton Alazaus added 15 and 14 points, respectively to lead Pitt-Johnstown.  Jasmine Hilton's 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Alivia Paeglow's 10 points paced the Mountaineers.
The Pitt-Johnstown women will break for the Thanksgiving holiday before visiting Glenville State (WV) for a non-conference game on Dec. 2, and traveling to Shippensburg and Millersville for PSAC Crossover games on Dec. 6 and 7.

Head Coach Bob Rukavina and the Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats begin PSAC Crossover-play at 2-3 following a narrow, 90-86, non-conference loss at D'Youville (NY) on Monday.  Freshman guard Jay Rose's 21 points paced five Mountain Cats who scored in double figures.  Sean Dillon hit 10-12 from the line and finished with 16 points and five assists, while Ryan Smith had 12 points and six boards, Adam Bilinsky and Vinnie Cugini scored 11 points apiece.

Since first meeting during the 1970-71 season, Pitt-Johnstown holds a slim, 20-19 advantage in the series.  However, last season, the Bald Eagles snapped a four-game losing streak to the Mountain Cats with an 80-66 win in Lock Haven on Dec. 1.  Andy Zuchelli and Smith each netted 17 points to pace Pitt-Johnstown.  Justice Shoats' game-high 22 points, six rebounds, and nine assists, and Collin Jones' 21 points led the way for the Bald Eagles.
Head Coach John Szentesy's (7th year) Mansfield Mountaineers were 1-3 prior to Friday's PSAC Crossover-opener at Clarion.  The Mountaineers, who also played an exhibition game at St. Bonaventure on Wednesday, are coming off of a 68-66 home win over D'Youville last Saturday.  Owen Chambers scored a game-high 18 points, while LJ Stansbury had 11 points and six assists, and Scott Woodring added nine points and seven rebounds.
In a series that dates back to the 1972-73, the Mountain Cats hold a 19-18 advantage.  Pitt-Johnstown has won seven of the last 10 meetings, but the Mountaineers came away with 68-57 victory in the last meeting on Dec. 2, 2023 in Mansfield.  Smith scored a game-high 18 points, while Andy Zuchelli had 14 points, and Watts chipped-in 10 points and six rebounds to lead the Mountain Cats.  Woodring's 15 points and game-high nine rebounds and Idris Ali's 11 points and six boards paced four Mansfield players who scored in double figures.
