The Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team will play host to California (PA) for a PSAC Western Division match, Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Richland High School.

Seventh-year
Head Coach Colin Petersen and the California (PA) Vulcans are 3-2-1 overall and 2-1-0 in the PSAC West. The Vulcans bounced back from a tight, 2-1, loss to Seton Hill last Wednesday with a 3-0 PSAC win over Clarion on Saturday.
Since first meeting in 2008, Pitt-Johnstown holds a slim, 7-6-2, advantage in the series. Last season, the Mountain Cats took a pair of games from the Vulcans. Pitt-Johnstown earned a 2-1 win in California on Sept. 20, before securing a 2-0 win in Johnstown behind two goals from
Haley Neidig.
The Mountain Cats travel to PSAC West matches at Edinboro on Saturday and Clarion next Wednesday, before hosting a conference match against nationally-ranked Gannon on Oct. 12 at noon at Richland High School.
