The fourth-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers jumped out to a quick 12-0, and Isaiah Vance earned his 99^th career win with a fall at 285 lbs. to help the Mountain Cats close out a 40-4 victory over the hosts in Sunday's final round of the Fairmont State Duals in Fairmont, W.Va.  Pitt-Johnstown is now 7-0.
 
Top-ranked Trevon Gray pinned Jorden Williams at 1:48 at 125 lbs., before Tyson cook (133 lbs.) and Gideon Bracken (141 lbs.) each won by decision to give the Mountain Cats an early 12-0 advantage.
 
Fairmont State answered with a major decision from Shane Hatfield at 149 lbs., but it was all Pitt-Johnstown after that.
 
Cooper Warshel's 15-6 major decision over Jim Green at 157 lbs. started a streak of six straight Mountain Cat wins to finish the match.
 
At 165 lbs., No. 18 Trent Hoover earned a 22-5 technical fall at 5:18 over Cole Turner, ahead of major decisions wins from No.5 ranked Ty Morrison and Noah Gnibus.  Ty Morrison dealt Josh Woyan a 16-2 loss at 174 lbs. and Gnibus defeated Cooper Durst, 12-4 at 184 lbs. to extend it to 29-4.
 
After Brad Morrison's dominating 21-3 tech fall at 7:00 over Jake Stephenson in the bout at 197 lbs., Vance quickly wrapped things up by pinning Tyler Wise at :50 to move to within one victory of becoming Pitt-Johnstown's 29 wrestler to reach the 100-win plateau.
 
With the loss, the Falcons dropped to 5-5 on the year.  
 
Pitt-Johnstown visits Kutztown for a PSAC match on Friday, before taking on Saint Vincent in a non-conference match at Bishop McCort High School on Jan. 22.  The Mountain Cats will return to the Sports Center to celebrate Winterfest Weekend with a PSAC match against Seton Hill on Jan. 23 at 7 p.m.
