In its first season as a varsity sport,
Head Coach Shane Valko's Pitt-Johnstown women's wrestling team will make its
inaugural showing in the NCAA Regional Tournament in West Liberty, W.Va. Five Mountain Cats will travel to West Liberty University's Academic, Sports and Recreation Center (ARSC) for Friday's and Saturday's tournament with a chance to advance to the NCAA National Championships.
The top three finishers in each of the 10 weight classes at the regional tournament will advance to Coralville, Iowa for the NCAA National Championships from March 4-7.

Janayah Nobles (138 lbs.) (5-2, 1 Fall, 2 Technical Falls), and No. 20
Emma Hoppe (124 lbs.) (22-4, 12 Falls, 6 Technical Falls) are all scheduled to represent Pitt-Johnstown.
