Head coach Tyler Reinhart's fifth-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers closed out the home schedule and celebrated senior night with a convincing 38-11 victory over Frostburg State (MD), Friday night in the Sports Center.  All three seniors in the lineup won with bonus points to help the Mountain Cats stay perfect and improve to 13-0.

Prior to the match, Head Coach Tyler Reinhart and the Mountain Cat wrestling program recognized this year's seniors… Noah Gnibus (184 lbs.), No. 1-ranked Trevon Gray (125 lbs.), Bryant Green (184 lbs.), and No. 4-ranked Isaiah Vance (285 lbs.).

Gray gave the Mountain Cats a quick 5-0 advantage with a 194 technical fall at 4:43 over Amir Wray-Hill, but Frostburg State quickly answered to tie it when top-ranked Tanner Halling won by technical fall at 133 lbs.

However, No. 8 Chad Ozias won by forfeit at 141 lbs., and third-ranked Matt Sarbo took just 2:01 to pin Tristen Hawkins at 149 lbs. to give Pitt-Johnstown the lead for good at 17-5.

After Nico D'Amico held off Cooper Warshel, 5-4, at 157 lbs. to narrow the Bobcats' deficit to 17-8, the Mountain Cats finished strong and won four of the final five bouts to pull away.

At 165 lbs., No. 12 Trent Hoover defeated Mason Buckler, 20-5 at 4:45 to record the Mountain Cats' third tech fall of the night, and sixth-ranked Ty Morrison pinned Duncan Kammar at 4:546 to extend it to 28-8.

Pitt-Johnstown then got a 12-1 major decision win from Gnibus over Andrew Wolfanger at 184 lbs.

Nick McCarthy held off Aiden Hight, 4-3 at 197 lbs. to give the Bobcats three more points, but with the outcome already decided, Vance pinned Cole Yonkin at 2:14 to earn his 15th fall of the season.

With the loss, Frostburg State dropped to 6-6.
