
The Pitt-Johnstown Men's Basketball team used a strong second half Wednesday night to defeat the Millersville Marauders, 77-71. The Mountain Cats were led by
John Paul Kromka's 17-points and nine rebounds. The Mountain Cats improved to 8-3 overall and 3-1 in the PSAC West. Millersville fell to 6-5 overall and 3-2 in the PSAC East.

With 17:09 remaining in the first half, Jaden Faulkner knocked down a pair of free throws to give Millersville the early 8-2 lead. the Mountain Cats tied it up at 8. After a

Fred Mulbah with 14-minutes remaining in the first half.

With 6:33 left in the first half, Wise hit jumper to give the Mountain Cats a 22-18 lead and cap off an 8-0 run from the Mountain Cats.

The first half saw three-lead changes and eight ties with neither team leading by more than six points.

Millersville's Jamal Washington hit a pair of free throws with 11:09 to give the Marauders a, 50-47, their final lead of the game. Mulbah found an open
Jared Jakubick for a 3-pointer to tie it at 50.

Jakubick's 3-pointer sparked a 15-2 run to give the Mountain Cats a 62-52 lead with five minutes remaining. The Mountain Cats opened up their biggest lead of the night, 68-54, when Kromka laid it up and in with 3:44 remaining.

The Mountain Cats registered four players in double figures Wednesday night for their second game in a row. Mulbah finished the game with 16 points and eight assists. Wise finished the night with 13-points followed by
Marcin Wiszomirski's 10 points and six rebounds.

The Mountain Cats return to action riding a three-game win streak Jan. 2 when they host Clarion (Pa.) University, before traveling to take on Indiana (Pa.) University Jan. 5.
