The rough weather presented a challenge to all athletes competing at the 2022 Carnegie Mellon University Invitational this weekend. Pitt-Johnstown's Lydia Robling was able to withstand the elements to notch a first-place spot in the 400-meter dash. Her time of 57.14 seconds was good enough to qualify for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship meet at the end of the season. The 4x100 meter team also earned a first-place finish with their time of 51.11 seconds. The team was made up of Mayah Charity, Trista Miller, Kara McKenzie, and Robling.

The Mountain Cats travel to Slippery Rock on April 2^nd for the Slippery Rock University Dave Labor Invitational. They then will compete at Indiana University of Pennsylvania for the Ed Fry Invitational on April 9^th.
